Very nice! Having spend the past few years aching I've finally surrendered to getting a metal detector. First outing tomorrow near Warwick (England). We be well chuffed to find something like that!

Awesome find I'm still searching for my first buckle. The ones around here would be from the Indian wars or from vets from civil wars uniform. No civ battles here but plenty of Indian war battles and a rev war battle 5 mins from my house.
that was my first find, beginners luck at a old well with a 350 gta and it was deep around 10" down ,i did not know what i had at first i thought it was a kids buckel , i took it to a 2 different guys who would know , and they said not to sell it, if i would ? for less than $250 , nice find what fun.
Thank you all, I just wanted to share. I see awesome finds on here all the time, which has helped keep me searching. Itching to get back to the spot to see if the rest of buckle is there. After 5 months of detecting and many times only finding aluminum cans something was bound to happen. Still searching for the elusive silver coin daily. Found a 44 wheatie the day before the buckle so it's just a matter of time one would think.
