I'm not sure about the mintmark as that nickel is pretty crusty and not sure about the dates on the wheats either as I get tired of finding and cleaning of wheats. I got a lot of wheats that's been sitting around uncleaned and actually had one that didn't make it in the pic because it was still in my pocket, I'm just glad I found some silver because my wheat to silver ratio is way higher than what most people claim so I figured the merc was just another deep wheat but was a nice surprise to see silver in the hole. This is what I do with my wheats that I find I wait until I get a couple dz then I put them in my tumbler and I add water to 3/4 full with a couple drops of dish soap and tumble for about 20 mins take coins out and see what they look like. If they look good take them out if not tumble some more. They will come out pretty good.

You need to find a better way to clean your coins.. be more gentle with them. Never know what you might find, and ruin, by being careless.

I clean my silver up nice without hurting them any only run under water, as far as the crusty wheats I don't think you can hurt those much and don't even bother cleaning them anymore as I find them constantly. Those ones in the pic came from a farm field and the fertilizer just kills them, I've got over 300 wheat pennies maybe 400 or so and if I do clean them a tumbler would be the way I go as its hard to find time to clean all those and the crud doesn't come off those easy.
