So, back in October, I found this ID bracelet…

Today, my wife and I made the 3+ hour drive to a little town outside of Hershey, PA to meet the family. George, the oldest of 4 of Mr. Albrights’ children, and his wife welcomed us into their home. He shared stories and pictures of his Dad, who passed in 2008. He is beyond thrilled to have this piece of his Dad returned to the family. He did not know it ever existed! He suspected that his Dad lost his bracelet while fox hunting in the late 40’s or early 50’s. It was found in Addison, PA…. Almost 200 miles from where he lived. The fact that I found it was random enough in itself, but returning it is the icing on the cake.
So we graciously accepted some home made brownies for the road, and tentatively agreed to keep in touch in the future for me to hunt on 200 year old properties of his and his neighbors… sweet!
So after an hour or so, we parted ways, and then wifey and I went to the sweetest place on earth, the Hershey Chocolate Factory!!!
And finally here is a pic of the reunion…. Look how happy my new friend is!

Found a WW2 Military ID bracelet…help me return it!
So with the info on here, I found the registration record for the guy, but it quickly dead-ends. For those of you better connected with this kinda research, throw me a bone. I’d love to find the legit next of kin… probably easier with the facebook, but I don’t play that. Oh, here it is…Found in...
