I finally found a two cent piece that wasn't dated 1864. I've found 6 1864 two cent pieces so far this year. Not that I don't like finding any 2 cent piece as they're on a lot of peoples bucket list, but it was nice to find a different date for a change, 1865. Not quite finished cleaning it yet. I was checking out the woods with DigginDude and pulled it. Went out to a town square with Jimzilla with and pulled a 1788 CT M.9-E copper. Pretty toasted, but attributable. I love finding colonials, even when toasted if they can be attributed by variety. We were also on our way to a spot in the woods when we noticed a sign, "furniture for sale". Looked like an old house so we drove in and asked permission. Owner said yes and I pulled the two Barber quarters and the Merc. Last but not least, we hit a favorite park yesterday and I pulled the 3 Barber dimes and 5 Indians. Jimzilla kicked my butt with his finds, but I wasn't disappointed. Also pulled a nice button and rosette that looks like it has an initial from the woods. Also pulled a semi key 1870 Indian in great condition and a Canadian penny. Can't complain over what I found in the last week. A number of these finds are bucket list items for many detectorists. Sorry to post so much, but I haven't posted for more than 10 days.
