Detector(s) used
MineLab E-Trac and White's Classic 4
Today I finally found a few keepers with the etrac and am slowly but surely getting comfortable with it. I still don't like the large amount of "false" signals and I am digging a lot of trash.....but......also finding coin amongst the trash so I'll consider it a small success. The wheat made me a believer....it was under 3 nails and two pieces of foil, but rang true around 6-7inches deep. The buffalo was just over 8 inches deep and was under nails as well, but rang true. I'll beat this thing yet....but my digging arm sure might be tired by the time I do :D
1935 buffalo
1946 wheat
clad = one penny, one dime and one nickel.
All this came from the spot that I had "hunted out" with my old White's detector.
The rock had my heart beating cause on initial sighting, it appeared to be an arrowhead, but after further inspection, I believe it is just a rock :(
also, not sure what the gold thing is, anyone have any idea?

I dont know if the e trac has the same menu as the se but if so try switching the response sound to "long" from "normal". Made all the difference in the world for me. Yes, I went back to one well hunted, iron laden spot twice and pulled out dozens of targets each time. They do detect through the iron pretty well.

Looks like you have this machine under control to me.
By the end of Spring you will be finding just about everything with in range of that Coil .
