Well finally got to do some scratching with my buddy yesterday. It got to 66° there was still plenty of snow but some spots were open. The only problem was the ground was pretty muddy and cold which didn't make for very good digging. We were able to find a few pieces.Considering the conditions it wasn't a bad day. These are some pieces of pottery .One is a rim piece so i usually keep anything marked or rim piece. The next pic is of a little quartz thumb scraper and a little hammer stone. This next is a very worn out knife. It looks to have been sharpened a lot.I saved the best for last. Also my buddy found it so last it goes. This is a piece of slate bayonette and was probably red paint and used for ocean hunting.......its a 4 or 5" fragment and way cool...mjm
