Well I gotta say the Dual Field and I are a team again!
Back at the same beach where I picked up the 14K chain .. the pocket has mostly shifted and started to dissipate. It shifted something like 200 feet north so I was happily picking up the dimes and quarters and loads of nickles (for some reason). Then a ring..a Silver Celtic ring down about 6" and a very loud signal. My day was a success! But still more daylight so I continue on with hope in my heart.
It didn't take long. A nice 4.8 gram Gold band marked 10K .. from about 8" deep on the wet slope A little disappointment that it wasn't 14K but just only a little.
Finding Gold is FUN!
