finds between the rains today

Found these today between rain storms (4 inches, first in 6 weeks). The axe piece is my first (looking for the rest of it tomorrow). Any ID appreciated. Thanks

It tears me up whenever I find part of something that I know was really big at one time! I found part of a grooved axe one time that would have been a monster! I'm going to hunt a really good field this weekend that hasn't been plowed in 3 years. The last time I walked the field, I found two hardstone celts and an effigy pendant that was made of cannel coal. I am geeked up to say the least. It looks like you are going to start finding some really good stuff here soon. I can't wait to see what you find. It would be nice if you could the other part of that axe!
