Finds for DrywallDave and Greydigger yesterday

Yesterday we got the chance to meet Greydigger and some of his family and David and him did some detecting. I was far too tired to do more than visit a bit and take some pics but had a great time. They did not find a lot but some lil guy on his bike with training wheels was fascinated....watched David for a bit then went and saw greydigger too. lol Too cute....got pics of them with their finds too!

lol I thought he was adorable! He ran up there going as fast as his lil legs could peddle....bailed off and stood there visiting with David and watching him for a while then got back on his lil bike and peddled straight for Randy....cracked me up!

Detectors seem to attract the little guys & girls...sometimes it makes you feel like the pidepiper (sorry, I don't know how that is spelled). Looks like you guys had a great time.

lol it wasn't any too cool here either...mid 90's....maybe I prayed TOO hard for winter to be over?? somehow we skipped right from winter to summer....one day frost on the windshield and the next was 90's lol

The little boy came peddling as fast as he could jumped off his bike and said
"what ya doing"
"looking for pennies" I said
"oh" he said
"skinned your nose" I asked him
"Ya" he said
"But you got back on your bike and did not let that stop you" I commented
" No"
Then he hops on his bike and peddles over to Randy

We spent more time chating with each other more that hunting, but it was a blast.

Yes stony that is a charm.........came up as zinc :tongue3:

I want to thank Cyndi and Dave for their hospitality.
Dave showed me a lot of new things and Cyndi took a break in her sleep to come out and visit and teach too.
First time I have met other folks from T'net and they were wonderful.

It was truly my pleasure sweet man! I only wish I had been less sleep deprived so I could have spent more time with you and visited more as well! After my mind woke up I had millions of questions I wanted to ask about different things and also though of other things I could have shown you.....sheeeesh if only I could have slept before I saw ya! lol Glad you had fun and we did as well. Hopefully we will get together again!

Oh sis, it was great! What a sweet man he was and so much fun to visit with! The lil fella on the bike was too funny! I am sure you are right about his parents and the penny machine....hopefully they saw him talking to Dave and know what he is talking about....either way I am sure he is makin them nuts! rofl

Absolutely! I only wish I had been awake enough to get pics of his sister and the rest of the family while they were there too! The whole family was great and his sister was so very sweet! Would have loved to have visited with her more! The heat was getting too much for them though and they were off to a state park that had water! lol Unfortunately we did not have permits to detect the park....that would have been ideal!
