Wasn't an awesome year, but hey...still had lots of fun.
I usually don't find that many coins because I hunt places that are older, so usually I manage to scrounge up a few older coins.
I totalled the following:
40 hunts
967 Total Coins
846 Clad Coin for a value of $57.90
24 Canadian Pennies
97 Good Finds: I classify these as wheat pennies or better.
These 97 coins break down into the following:
74 Wheat Pennies including a 1911, 1914, 1915D, 1916, 1917 (2), 1918.
7 Silver Coins (5 mercs, 1 rosie, 1 war nickel)
11 Indianheads (67, 80, 85, 89, 93, 99, 00, 01, 04, 05, and an unknown)
Others were:
1781 North American Token (Listed in Yeomans Red Book)
---This was down about 9 inches and by far one of my cooler finds. My 3rd 1700's coin.
1863 Civil War Token (Yankee Smith Saloon; Detroit, MI)
1910 V-Nickel
1917 Canadian Large Cent
1920 Buffalo Nickel
For some reason I'm having problems posting the other pics, but I'll figure it out and post the Silver and Injuns.
