Finds from the sod fields.

Not a killer day but did find one nice point. Found three well made knife bases and three crude tips. Also a black flint turtle back scraper that wasn't uniface on the bottom. Most I have are. One quartz scraper. I almost didn't pick up the crude little triangular point. That it was just a flake and went by it but doubled back to check and it was full. Crude but a keeper. The nice point I thought was a leaf but I flipped it for some reason. It's all there with a bit of cortex on the base. Had plenty in my pockets going home but everything in that field is broke. It's the machine that cuts the sod I think. Also decades of plowing before that. Sites are growing thin.

Funny thing about you thinking that point was a leaf, as I have tapped hundreds of them recently with my stick the last few days and they were just leaves...lol.
You have some real nice finds and I hope you are able to find some killer spots.

That last one is sweet. I see the notch on the blade, strange but the knifes I find here have that same notch only on 1 side.
