Hi guys .. I have totally forgotten about my membership here alot has happened since I joined... I have upgraded to the G2 (LOVING IT !!) and have mainly been working the beaches in Cape town I will attempt to upload as many pics as possible .... mostly tons of clad which I have NO problem digging! total so far since I started 4 months ago is around R6000-00 in spendable coinage.

Very nice assortment of jewelry and coins. Is 6,000 R equivalent to around $550 in US dollars? What is the highest denomination coin you find? Very interesting .. thanks for posting and congrats.

Our highest denomination coin is a 5 Rand .... but 1s and 2s make up the bulk of finds in the water ... 5 Rand coins mostly get dropped on the dry sand so you can tell by the amount of them I find exactly where I was hunting
