Fire Department Button Age?

I found this button at a very old site. It says Waterbury on the back of it. Any idea about the age?

The back should say "Waterbury Button Co. Con" They date to the late 1800s and into the 20th century.

That exact same style of button is still in use today. It would be very hard to guess a date.
