I finally got out after purchasing some new gear to replace damaged stuff from last season. Dives 1 & 2 produced some unusual finds in that I got an 1875 Seated Liberty Quarter in great shape, 2 IH pennies dated 1860 (fatty) and 1907. I also dug up a Federal Eagle Infantry coat buttom with some gilt left on it and a backmark for D. Evans of Attleboro Mass.

Dives 3 & 4 prodeced an umbrella inkwell and some more clay pipe bowls.

How awesome is that, a stump and a squirrel. I can honestly say I have never seen that specific pipe before.
Is that a dug artifact Surf?

BTW, I am back home on Thursday so I will start the digitizing then, and start a new thread tomorrow evening, what part of the forum do you suppose it should be in?

doc-d, the river ranges from 5'-30' with vis 10-15' in early spring and late fall, kinda skunky in the summer with algae blooms and rain runoff.
