Never thought I'd find a half dollar, much less a foreign one. 1950 Canadian half - 80% silver. Appears to be the "design" type. It was in the same hole with the mexican coin on top of it (1968) and the canadian nickel (1950) very close by. I know I scratched it pretty good because I rubbed it. I try not to rub silver but I just wasn't thinking because it really threw me off. Otherwise looks like it's in great shape. Found by the baseball field at my old elementary school. All the sudden I am finding silver in the ground almost every hunt. Did about 4.5 hours today. Love this. HH!

Cool find! I live in Canada, and I haven't found a Canadian half dollar. Oddly enough, I have found four American halves. Who knows lol!
