First box of pennies today

My boss has me doing computer updates for my crew this week. I figured while I waited on the downloads I would try my luck on a box of pennies. Every single end has a 2011 on it. I broke 2 rolls and they were all 2011. It was a box from String & Sons out of PA. I guess I'll need to find a new bank to get them from in the future.

That stinks. My last box had $10 worth of 2011's which really cuts into the amount of copper and wheats.

Its not the bank. Occasionally you'll get boxes of all new coins, regardless of from which bank you get the boxes. Just part of the hobby.

I'm brand new to this hobby, and don't know too much, but it might be worth it to hold on to a couple rolls for a few years and then sell them as uncirculated rolls for a premium.
