Second gold of the year

Went to a park I've hit hard it's given me a lot of silver but gold just wasn't coming out of the ground for me but I knew it had to be there, just the amount of mid tones and activity let me know most likely gold was there. Well I let myself be stubborn spent 3 hours one of my days off there nothing but change and a single good for one wish token. The next day off I refused to give up and was there about 6 and a half hours dug lots of change, a few pieces of junk jewelry and towards the end got a signal I figured was going to be a crusty zinc penny but instead the shine of gold was there to greet me. Now every single park I've hit in my town I've got gold from.

Also a note often I'll over hear people snickering "he won't find anything here" and things like that and I live to prove those type wrong. I've gotten quite good at knowing were silver and gold will and won't be and good indicators of it. Not to say it will be easy to get some it takes me tons of work but I love the hobby so I endure. I do not drive my spots I walk or bike to everything I do is hard earned and for the love of the hobby even if people tend to talk down or say my efforts are a waste of time I love what I do and well do a ton of cleaning in the process

I still remember a fella that walked by me and shouted, "find any gold?" and laughed as he walked away. My next target was a large man's 10k gold ring. Now, I can only hope I get "laughed at" again for the luck it brought that time. Keep swinging and may #3 be found very soon, John.

Reminds me of the brother would always mock me saying you'll never find anything good back when I first started metal detecting. One day he was mocking me saying you'll never find gold. Well that exact day came my first gold ring and since then he jokingly says I should tell you more often you won't find something because everytime I do you do find something.
