First finds with my new Manticore!

Since Christmas, I’ve been locked in on the YouTube, member threads, and hoping it becomes warm enough to get out on a day off. Finally today I took it out for a spin at a site I’ve pounded for a few years. I’ve got so much more to learn, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. My settings were I guess you’d say are pretty basic, really no variation from the factory settings. This machine goes DEEP! My first target was the Jefferson nickel, about a foot down, which surprised me, as this place goes back a hundred plus years. Throughout the day, I discovered this machine likes aluminum, as I dug about a dozen scraps. I especially like the 2D screen, as I became brave enough not to dig targets that I hope were junk. I hit on another good target, turns out it’s a 1911 wheat, sweet! Finally I pulled a Buffalo, I think it’s 1928, so that’s good.
Overall, i think I’m gonna love this new toy, can’t wait to rock my permissions again!

That's awesome you were able to play w/your new toy. I can only imagine how you must have been itching to use it since Christmas! Hopefully you'll learn it quickly and get some more great goodies. FYI, for me, the most current firmware update really helped me from digging lots of iron with the Manticore.
