First foreign coin in a Half roll...and it's a good one!
I picked up my four boxes yesterday and here are my results, with pics.
Box 1:
64x2
64D
66
67x3
68Dx3
69D
03P
Box 2:
64Dx2
67x3
68Dx2
69Dx4
76S Clad (did not have this one yet although it's terribly ugly)
82P No FG (a really nice one, too)
Box 3:
1943 WL
64x4
64D
66x7
67x4
68Dx9
69Dx3
Now box #4 I was really excited about, because I opened it and saw a Liberty Bell looking at me! Sweeeeet! So I'm thinking there are gonna be some more Bens in there, right? So I start opening rolls, finding nothing. Half way through the box all I have is that lone 1960D Ben. About 3/4 of the way through it I open up a roll, do a quick edge peek and see a VERY thin copper colored coin. So I think, "Nice I think I found my first foreign coin!" I was thinking it'd be a British penny like I've seen some other members find. So I pull it out and see this:
Whoa...don't recognize that one! So I flip it over...
Haha...niiiice! My oldest coin ever found CRHing (aside from some possible dateless Indian Heads but we'll never know). I believe it is a Republic of Haiti 2 Cent copper piece dating 1886. I only weighs about 9.1 grams so it's a fair amount lighter than even a clad half. Nothing else was in that last box. To finish out the day, while dumping the searched coin I found:
5 dimes
7 pennies
2001-P Can. nickel
1999 Can. dime
3 tokens
And this foreign coin...I think it's from Thailand but not sure. Any help with ID or date??
And finally just a pic of the silver:
Can't wait for the next boxes!
