First gold ring and old toy race car

Detected this weekend in the local lake and at an old park. Found a old race car in the water. Found my first gold ring at the park. Anyone have an idea of the age of the ring. Just says 10k

Those are two very cools finds. I just love the toy car though, it's in great condition. Congrats.

After some research, I think the ring is a Victorian cigar band ring from the 1890's. But I could be wrong

I was going to say 1890s as well.

Each of the engravings are a little different. So I think they are hand engraved. Here is a picture of the k mark.View attachment 1217042

I agree, looks like hand engraving. I looked at the rings in the link AARC attached... it looks like the ones from CW to 1880s. That is an awesome find.
