Birthday Score - Old Gold Ring from Lake!

Technically my birthday is tomorrow but since we’re so busy I celebrated yesterday.
I’ve seen people here having success with water hunting so for the first time I tried hunting my local lake’s beach.
Well I can say I scored maybe beginner’s luck but I’ll take it.
1937 NBHS Murchison Newark 10k gold ring
2nd ring looks gold but probably not, no mark

Also found 3 wheats + tons of tabs

Anyone know what is NBHS? And how do I find the original owner?

The NBHS I pretty sure is "New Brunswick High School" which is in New Jersey, Murchison Of Newark NJ was a mid-20th-century manufacturer specializing in custom sports medals, trophies, and achievement jewelry.
So it would make sense that "New Brunswick High School" would source their high school rings from them.

You could contact the school... BUT I doubt that without a name or at least some initials they would be of much help finding the relatives of the owner, who would of passed away by now since he/she would be a minimum of 105 years old if still living.
