Had to get out this afternoon for the nice weather here in the DC area. Think it'll be crappy for the next week. Went to an old park outside of DC and found this ring. A tiny portion of the band was still showing aboveground. Researching it since I got home, turns out to be a David Yurman ring, sterling with either 14K or 18K and the stone, I think, is garnet. These are popular rings and sell for pretty good money on eBay. Very happy with it! Rang up as a very insistent dime on my Ace 250.

Nice day today in Virginia area. Caught up on some private land with permission in Spotsylvania. A few bullets and a musket ball. Good find for you too ! Worked a new Garrett AT Pro.

Great ring! Love the Ace250. The finds that I've made with it have paid for it about 5-fold.

Thanks for the comments. The gold part, I've determined, is 18K. It's marked 925 and 750, which until yesterday I didn't know meant 18K (.750 gold).

You may want to take a closer look at the mark. This designer is copied (faked) alot.

The proper copyright marking should be "D.Y. 925"

Sometimes fakes will re-arrange this info to read "925 DY" or leave the "D.Y." off completely.

That's the second Yurman ring posted here this week. Cool!

Thanks for mentioning. I saw some ebay posts about all the fakes. This one has the marks in the right order. I'll probably take it to a jewelry store just to be sure and also to find out what the stone is (probably garnet). HH
