My take from Peshastin Creek WA yesterday. Dug a nice hole behind a big rock at the edge of the water. My first pan had 4 or 5 colors. Ran my 24" sniper for about 3 hours which kept up nicely, I love it.

That looks awesome!

What type of weight did you get from all that lovely "nectar" ? ;)

Very nice gold Owen....:occasion14:

Peshastin is just over the mtn's from me, but it'd take
near 5 hrs. to get there..dang it.

That a great first day! Congrats, just remember the fever has no cure.

Way to go! You have good taste in sluices!

Very nice gold. Now start obsessing about filling a vial. And go....

Very sorry to hear about this --- if your like me your life has just changed.
Just joking -- very nice gold
Thanks for the pic
Mike

Any gold is good gold but that is some nice chunky stuff. I'm in cle elum now. Good job.

First stuff :icon_thumright: Bet you got a little rush off that .

Thanks everyone. I think the pics make it look like a lot more than it really is, should've included a penny for reference. Didn't get to weigh as I doubt it would register on the scale I've got, guess it's time to get more equipment :laughing7:. Yep, after getting a little discouraged, the fever is once again alive and well.

Your doing great. My first nugget 3 years ago was a gold painted rock that some cruel sob planted. My son found one too. I still have mine. Conversation piece.

Owen, we've all seen gold in a finish pan, so it's not hard to
gauge what our pans look like compared to yours.

Ya done good...

dizzyD is right, we know what fly poop gold looks like in a pan...and this ain't that! Congrats!!

...now go back and dig more/deeper/faster! LoL!

Awesome gold for your first time out. :)

Hey I just started this treasure hunting hobby. Just as a point of reference, what would you experienced guys/gals say this amount weighs? What is it worth, money-wise?

Hard to say by looking at the picture. Maybe fifty cents. Like the Indiana gold that I find, I ain't never get rich, it's all for fun.

0.17 grams guess

Wow, so you would really need a lot of gold dust for it to be worth anything significant huh? Does anyone every find large nuggets?
