First off I hope you enjoy this video......the cold months has gotten me playing with windows movie maker....and I totally dig it. Bezjo and I got out today and figured with the foot of snow we have that there would be little digging getting done......but once we got to the site....the plan changed. Did a nice little hike to check out some of the cellar holes on the property and then went back to the first one which I have had my eyes on since last weekend. Snow shovel in tow we took turns clearing out 20 by 20 foot areas or so and then detecting while the other cleared an area of their own.....worked beautifully. He started at one side of the "front yard" area and I started at the other and we worked our way towards each other....sometimes switching claims just to mix things up a little. We got a good 4 hours in. My first target surprised me....a sterling BSA (Boy Scouts of America) ring.....with a broken band. Second good target was an 1882 seated love token....a first for me....I see very few of these but this one cleaned up beautifully with some soap and water. Third good target was a 1944-D wheatie, fourth was a 1942-D merc. 5th good target was a small pocket spill I guess you would call it.....an 1894 Newfoundland 50 cent piece and a 1912 Newfoundland 20 cent piece frozen together. 5 inches away from the small pocket spill was a 1950-S wheatie. And final good target as we were getting ready to pack it in was an 1808 reale. Once of my best silver days ever....and as for the love token....I am in love with it
