Hey everyone!!! Good to be back.

So, first hunt of the year outside of a 1950's high school. I literally turned my Deus on, took one swipe to the left and got a blasting 95. I dug it up, and it was my first ever barber quarter. Unreal. No longer than 3 seconds into the hunt. God has a sense of humor.

When i got back I looked at some old maps, and sure enough, there were a couple of old farm houses on the block.Maybe burnt down? Because within 30 feet of the quarter, i got a silver plate spoon with a patent from 1907 in the best condition ive ever dug for being plated, and some kind of medal. Any ideas? It looks like possibly an "A" with a wing coming off the side. I think the rest of the emblem has broken off. I started cleaning it with a toothpick and scraped some of the blue paint off which you can see. Stopped that right away.

Anybody know the medal? It looks to the period of the other stuff i found. Early 1900s.
