Two firsts

Wife had kids out of town for the weekend. Got honey dos knocked out, so had a few hours free. Finds from yesterday evening and a few hours after lunch today. Landed me 2 (potentially 3) firsts. Concave flat button (never seen one before)….backmark rich colour, heel cap, script I csa infantry button (Alberts 177) (first ever script button for me), a copper wedding ring and skeleton key (not pictured), back off a 2 piece button (unmarked) some unknown brass pieces (potentially military based on location, but who knows) and a 1857 seated quarter (first ever seated quarter). Was a good last 3 days of digging.

That's a nice collection of finds ncsuwolf. Seated quarters don't come along all that often. I've only ever found one in 13 years. Congrats on finding your!
