Damnails and I met up with fellow t-net member, Jacobsdt and did a little relic hunting today. We had a nice day and all were able to save a little history. Here is the pile at the end of the day. IMG_20170319_151114265.jpgIMG_20170319_151128805.jpg
My finds for the day were a couple bullets, some camp lead, leather rivets, tent grommets, part to a nap sack, and two sweet CW cuff buttons.

One is a general service eagle button and the other is a New York state seal.

I didn't clean the back of the NY button much because it still has thread in it.
We had a nice hunt with a great host.
Thanks again David, can't wait to get you here in the Valley so we can return the favor. Thanks for looking!

The great thing about going with other people is that if everybody is paying attention,SOMEONE usually learns SOMETHING from someone else. It feeds off of itself and can be a very good thing, with the right people! Over on the "other" forum myself and a handful of guys got together today, and I learned something. I'm hoping to one day have someone learn from anything I do.
Some nice recoveries in there!

It was good meeting you guys, if it wasn't so muddy from the rain last night, we may have been able to pull a few more relics out. We will have to team up again. Thanks.

Nice hunt guys
Keep em coming

Congratulations on getting together with other tnetters. Looks like a good size axe head.
Buttons and bullets are always fun.

Nice group of finds, well done.
