Found this coin today on a recently excavated lot. I thought it was a slug. Can anyone i.do. it for me. Also got a couple tokens and a wheatie. This was an exciting find for me. 20170226_152741.jpg 20170226_152514.jpg thanks for any help and for looking

Nice find Captain! Try taking a flat picture of it - the angle shots are hard to see all the lines on the coin.

Looking forward to a positive ID on his coin. At first glance that reverse does not look like the Canadien LC's that I am familiar with. Congrats on a nice find.

Looks like a good one to me, Canadian by what all the others are saying.

Not "all" others, Mr Digger in post #5 didn't agree with Canadian.
This is another prime example of just because "most" agree on something doesn't make it so.
