That large cent is a beauty Anne I never found one single large cent last year but I made up for it in large silvers, I'm overdue to find one.

Like the glass and ceramic display, you could make a nice Mosaic out of those. Hmm, maybe I will start collecting those too. Found a site a few weeks ago with a lot of glass, ceramic and stoneware fragments.

Yes, that's what I was thinking.....some kind of mosiac or cement decorative stone. All those little bits and pieces of someone's personal life from days ago: perhaps a plate from their wedding dishes, a favorite tea cup, the platter for the Thanksgiving turkey, the crock for making pickles......now just laying out in a huge cornfield.

There were actually so many neat pieces that is was distracting me from my attempts at gridding.

Very, Very nice. Also an outstanding spot to hunt. I'd look for some spanish silver to show up in there as well.
