That large cent is a beauty Anne :thumbsup:

I never found one single large cent last year but I made up for it in large silvers, I'm overdue to find one.

Excellent finds, that is a good lookin LC.

Like the glass and ceramic display, you could make a nice Mosaic out of those. Hmm, maybe I will start collecting those too. Found a site a few weeks ago with a lot of glass, ceramic and stoneware fragments.

Yes, that's what I was thinking.....some kind of mosiac or cement decorative stone. All those little bits and pieces of someone's personal life from days ago: perhaps a plate from their wedding dishes, a favorite tea cup, the platter for the Thanksgiving turkey, the crock for making pickles......now just laying out in a huge cornfield.

There were actually so many neat pieces that is was distracting me from my attempts at gridding. :tongue3:
