Detector(s) used
Ace 350 / bullseye 2
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I just recently picked up my first detector an Ace 350. I've been out a few times haven't really found anything good until today. A friend and I went hunting at my neighbors 1880's farm house and I found one Wheatie and this bat wing buckle. Anyone have any ideas on its age? Thanks!

This debate has been going around in circles for ages. As it hasn't got an off-set bar & doesn't appear to be the brass version there is a 'chance' that its 18th C, but most of the others are mid-19th C which fits better with the 1880s farm.
