First Rings Gold & Sterling + Silver and Wheats
I had a chance to go out to one of our counties state parks Friday and do alittle tecting. I wasnt finding that much trash so I started digging all the pull tab sounds and i am glad I did. I found my first gold ring a 10k white gold school ring , the ring has some initals inside the band. I called the schools alumni assoc. and they are trying to track down the owner. The ring had a spring sizer so it must have been worn by a girlfriend. The sterling ring has a U with an arrow thru it than the word sterling. I had been getting lazy and not digging all those pull tab signals , not any more though.
I also found four silver coins a 43 s washington , 3 merc's 37 , 39 and a 44 d. Four wheats 1919 44, 49, and 51 and the usual clad.
