YUMMMM,
Been eating a few myself,

Fossis...............

Yum is right....but I am eyeing up all those nice green tomatoes.....yummy.....fried green tomatoes! Yeehaw!

Yep, fried green are great too. So far there are 36 tomatoes on this particular bush in various stages of growth and it's got plenty of blossoms left on top of those. I may have to keep count on this one. The others aren't doing quite so good but still producing.

Sorry PB, I had my first one 2 weeks ago. I planted an "early girl" this year. Never have I had them so early. I eat a lot of bolts, so I am happy.

One of my sons has been eating his for a few weeks already also. I didn't put mine in the ground this year, I put them in pots which may have slowed their earlier growth. I got tired of the gofers eating my tomatoes so I potted them. The last few years I was raising more gofers than tomatoes. :D

Homegrown tomatoes, homegrown tomatoes.....MMMmmmmm! :P

This is weird. . . I've had 4 BLT's in the last 5 days (one at lunch today) and after seeing your tomato pic, I think I might have another one tonight. . . with a few peppers ;D

Nothing tastes any better than a home grown tomato. Love those tomato sandwiches too.

green tomatos= piccalily here ;)

It ain't no fair. You live in California with a longer growing season. I'm stuck in Pa with frost in the 3rd week of May and the first week in Oct.. But one year I did pick my first crop of corn on Oct 2nd. Didn't plant it untill June 30. My neighbors said you arent picking corn in Oct. But it sure did taste good.
