Well my little experiment is a success. After seeing some post of the gardening by some of you, that got me thinking maybe I can grow me something. I got started late, but I built this 3'x5' wood box out of old cedar fence pieces I saved. I planted 4 early girl tomato plants and 4 Jalapeño plants. The jalapeños have a excellent taste and kick so I've made pico de gallo out of those along with the first tomatoes to turn ripe. Last Monday my daughter made what she called brown buttered tomatoes out of the many that are now turning ripe, man those were good. These later ripening tomatoes are the best tasting over the earlier ones by far. I think this fall I'm gonna erect bigger boxes and plant a bigger garden for next year.

Well done, nothing beats eating food grown by your hands.
Tomatoes taste way better than the store bought ones.
