I hit one of the larger thrift stores in the area on my way home this afternoon. It has really sucked in the past for jewelry, but today I bought a couple of small bags they had out. I paid $11 for both of them. Came up with a pin/pendant with Swedish markings and 18K. Date mark (C9)puts it at 1953 I was sure about it, it seems to be 2 different colors. Acid test held at 18k, and my GXL-24 tested it at 21K. Weight is 3.5 grams.

Sterling hummingbird brooch is sterling and weighs 8.6 grams.

Great Falls Metal Works Pin that is sterling and amethyst. Looks like a chalice to me.

Cufflink? Swedish markings on it as well, too bad there is only one of them. Marked 813 and 5.5 grams. Date mark puts it from 1891.

I'll try for better pics later, my lighting sucks.

I’ve got to find one of these stores!! Lol. Great job.

Thanks! Just noticed I posted in the wrong forum, meant it to go in the thrift store forum.

Great jewelry bags! Awesome pieces

Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

Great finds. Your post just made me bid on one of those GXL-24 gold testers.
