First silver dime

[alb1]

1052 coins dug up and finally my first silver dime. I believe switching from my stock 12 inch coil to a 10x12 SEF made all the difference. I found this dime in very rocky/ mineralized soil at 4 inches. Also found three wheat pennies today in the same area.

Congrats! Any first you come up with metal detecting is always exciting. Now go find some old maps and figure out where people used to hang out in your area 100 years ago and you'll find a lot more, promise.
