First silver of 08

[coinsearcher]

I got a call from my better half and she told me she had something for me when she got home from work and I better be there to see this. I asked her what time she got off of work and she told me at 6:00 p.m. I told her I would be there and to give me a clue as to what it was, but she told me to wait. I hung up the phone and looked at the time and it read 2:15 p.m. I thought to myself 3 hours and 45 minutes i have to wait! Oh well, I have no choice.
Finally the time had come. I met my wife at the door anxious and jumping up and down like a little kid. I asked her what she had and she explained to me about the sound of silver clanging when it hits something. My eyes just about bugged out of my head and I stated to her " WHAT DID YOU FIND, LET ME SEE! She opened her hand and staring me right in the face was a 1964 silver washington quarter. I could not believe it! I hardly ever find silver when I go detecting but she finds it in the grocery store where she works at.
It might not be the best of coins but it is silver and I will take it!
I would post a pic, but I don't know how to use the wifes camera yet, but you all have seen a washington quarter before.
Thanks for reading and Happy Hunting to all of you!

Brian

Also, I would like to thank my wife for thinking of me and grabbing that quarter.
