First silver of 2020. Got out to Druid Hill Park for a couple hours this afternoon and dug modern change and a bunch of gaming tokens. I changed spots and dug a scratchy high-tone jumping into the 30s on the Nox. I was running Park 2, 5 tones and after removing 9 inches of soil saw this silver coin on edge.....an 1858 seated dime. In the same area I dug this deep cufflink as well.

What an awesome start to the new year- Congrats!

Thanks Jeff! Yes, the last three seated dimes I've dug have all come from this park....each in a different part of the park.

Very nice! Congrats!

Awesome this will be a great year start counting those bad boys my friend

Thnks Tommy. Great day to hunt here in Baltimore. Nothing frozen yet.

Way to get sat down!!

Congrats on the seated! :occasion14:

Thanks BLK HOLE. I was impressed with the Equinox when I saw the coin on edge at that depth.

Thanks Professor. The dime came from an area where we've dug Indians, a Barber dime and a minie ball.

Thanks HIGHSTRUNG. Silver makes those hours of listening to modern trash just melt away.

Awesome!! That park sounds like a great spot, I’m jealous (; old east coast parks are some of the best spots for old coin shooting. I’ve pull some great coins and relics from parks. Keep at it brother, happy new year!!

That is a great first silver for the year McCdig. Congrats on the Seated.

Thanks washingtonian. Pretty crazy....silver in this park is hard to come by.
