Howdy all,
Today was a day for findin new sites to hunt. I usually drive around and look for realestate signs, and call the number. I prefer vacant homes but if there is a number I ring it up and give it a shot. I usually get a yes 2 out of 5 tries. If I get a yes I do a quick swing to see if its worth hunting. Sometimes the yards are fill or so full of car parts that I skip em. If the signals are good then I save em so Detectingfreak and I can hunt em on the weekends. Todays site was built in 1902 and the sales agent said go ahead. She has never said no in the past and has given us at least 5 good sites. I only worked the front of the house for 30 minutes or less. First hit was the silver ring with mother of pearl. Then I got a 50's wheat, and then the 1920S. I pulled a good handfull of clad and not much trash. So DF and I are gonna hit it on sunday and see what happens. Hopefully we can manage a couple more keepers. Thanks for lookin. Luck in the hunt.
