First Silver!

[ActionGnome]

Hey Folks, yet another newbie here. My first real goal for detecting was pretty simple. I wanted to find some silver. Any silver. Just found it.

What next? Silver coin I think.

Congrats and welcome to Tnet Is the piece you found stamped 925 anywhere on it?

Congrats

Yup. In the top pic, there's a little 925 in an oval in the middle. Actually brought it home thinking it was junk as it's very light. Found the mark washing up. Glad I didn't toss it.

Thanks y'all. I looked up the symbol, as it was my first silver and all. Turns out I found "happiness". Sweet! I've been looking for happiness for quite awhile...

Thanks Rick and Charlene. I love how this hobby is somewhat limitless. There are nearly infinite different types of spots to detect for infinite variety of finds. Love the coat of arms in your avatar Rick, very cool.
