first silver

My brother and i have pulled out over 250 coins from my back yard. Mostly clad but around 60 wheaties. He has found a war nickel and a merc. Today was my turn. In the last week i have found my first bracelet, ring and now silver. As my girl friend sits yelling at me cause i want to go back out tomorrow all i can think about is that nice high pitch that put me right over my 1916 merc. What a great day.

It has a san Francisco mint mark, too bad it wasn't a Denver

Yea my yard has been a sweet honey hole. We have gone over it about 5 times now and there is still more to find. That merc was only 2 foot from a hole that was dug about a month ago that we both missed. I've been spending a lot more time learning to be patient and go slow
