First silver...

[SaskSteve]

Finally. Been looking high and low for that elusive silver. Research finally paid off. Went to a school built in the twenties, and 40 mins after the first swing of the coil the ATP sings me a beautiful song.

Beautiful coin Steve. I'm still looking for my first dug silver and a half dollar would do nicely.

That is one Beautiful Big Silver Half! Congrats on your first silver!

Sweet. Nice to finally carve that silver notch on your detector. I'm going really hard for two things..a KG cent and a standing liberty quarter..like to find that elusive "1916 booby quarter" if I do I may just act like the guys from diggers. Congrats and hope you dig many more

Thanks everyone. Pretty cool to see that big half in the hole. I nicked it a bit, seems the 5x8 coil deceived me a little on the pin pointing. Oh we'll, I'll be a little more careful on the next one!
