It all starts with one speck.

At least my prospecting journey did in June, 2018.

Finding that first piece of nano gold was just as exciting as finding a picker nowadays. I remember panning down to just the heavies, swirling around the black sand, and seeing that first piece of gold just sitting there, not moving. What an exciting moment.

In some ways it would be nice to go back to being that naive gold panner who is thrilled with just a single small speck, but that won't be possible.

The coarse gold is too seductive.

I remember my 1st piece and after that the fever started.
I'm getting my Flu shot next week at Kaiser and while there I'm going to ask if it works for gold fever.
I should get a laugh:laughing7:
Nice gold.

Mike there's no known cure for gold fever ! I got my flu shot Thursday and it didn't help this 72 year old F.O.G. one bit ! And old age and a worn out ole body don't help either !:BangHead:

I think I was too young to remember the first piece of gold I found. ;)
Probably some pictures in an album somewhere.
