Its still very cold here in Denver. I bought my first metal detector(a Garrett AT Gold ) a couple days ago and just had time today to try it out. and we went out for a short while. We found an small empty bullet cartridge with an "F" marked on it. Was about 8 inches down , and close by the river. Also found a 1990 dime by a playground at the park. Will try to get pictures I am very happy as this is my first time going out MD'ing. Cant wait till it gets little warmer!

Get out with your new metal detector as often as possible, and Happy Hunting!

nice job... it is an addictive hobby .

Congrats on the new machine, keep swinging and digging your finds will get better :blob7:

Congrats on your first finds! As you know, your area of Colorado is highly mineralized, so your detector will help you find gold and silver once the snows melt off hills and mountains! Looking forward to seeing all your future finds, whether nature-made gleaming ore or man-made coins and such. HH Andi
