First time out with new Etrac from Bart. Stock coin mode, Andi's pattern and a park pattern, I bounced around between them all.

Small yard with 150 year old Cedar trees, the lot has never been hit. Coming from an ACE 250, I've got some learning to do. After detecting what I thought were coins I used the 250 to verify/compare. 2 coins the ACE hit on, but the ACE failed on the last coin. There was a piece of rusty wire in with the penny. The Etrac did a good job on the coin and wire.

Lots and lots of Aluminum. Ran with Trash on high, Auto Sensitivity, -1 and -2.

Still feel like a lost duck, all the tones are hard to decipher.

Going through the same pains in learning my Whites MXT Pro, first machine i used was a Tesoro Cibola and it was very easy to learn. The MXT seems ultra chattery to me.

Still pulled out some keepers nice finds!!!!

Yesterday I found a dime and a nail in the same hole with the Etrac.

Goesforever is the one to get up with for pointers on the etrac. He has a nice website with several how too videos . The best thing about the etac to me is the TTF mode for CW hunting. Takes a bit to get used to though.
