First time out with my DFX------GOLD

This has been a day of firsts. First time on TreasureNet, first time out in the field with a DFX, first 14k GOLD ring. I have been reading the reports of all the finds on the TreasureNet, but finding that first GOLD ring was a rush that I will not forget soon. Hope you enjoy the photos. First one is the GOLD 14k size 11 ring, found on a Huntington Beach, California sand volleyball court. This was the last find made just as the last sunlight was fading. Next two were taken by my lovely wife and now full time supporter, of my brother (on the Left) LazyOldCowboy is showing me the “ropes” on digging coins, then me walking back from dropping many handfuls of junk in the trashcans. Last one the keepers for the 3.5 hours of hunting, 3 quarters, 3 pennies, the GOLD ring, and one chain link the made my ears ring for 20 minuets. Not shown is the 15 bobby pins, assorted tin foil and two wine bottles and enough nails to repair 40 yards of wood fence. Altogether a very good first day hunting!!
