first time out

Just got a compadre and took it for a 30 minute spin in my yard. Finally think I'm getting the hang of it.
For the finds was three copper cents and this looks like a key chain of sorts
It looks like copper on the back of it. It is non magnetic. Any ideas

Good find. So far I found a toy car and today I found my first coins. They were all clad so that was disappointing!

I'm in south east Michigan. Most of my yard is still frozen. So it will be a while I think before I can get to any of the good stuff

I have been detecting for almost a month now and I live in the northeast, just gotta get through 1/2 of crust and your good to go.

neat for a first find! my first day was about 6 pennies, assorted regulars like tabs and caps and a nail. Ha hahahaha At least I was out having fun, digging and learning my machine. Good for you, keep it up. (actually my last hunt last year was about the same as my first hunt hahaha)
