First try...

[kybowhunter]

So I've been lurking and thought what the heck, I'll give it a try and if I don't get any silver I can still make an album of halves for my daughter.

Went to the bank and bought $50 in rolls got home with them and my daughter and I searched through them... no silvers mostly years in the 70's.

Had fun and will keep trying.

That's what you have to do. You can't find silver if you don't look.
