The weather was so beautiful yesterday, after my honey-dos, I had to get out and go to one of my favorite spots. I had detected for about 1 1/2 hours with little to show for it. I recieved a good solid signal at 6 inches and when I removed the target I knew it was some type of military insigna but did not know from when. After returning home, I cleaned the find with a soft brush and water. Researching my find I found that it is a lapel pin from WW1. The US Army 369th was an all black division from NY and formed in 1913 and were called the "Harlem Hellfighters". The Division has participated in both WW1 and WW2.

Thanks for looking and HH
