Fisher f70 speaker/battery box wobbles

I purchased a used Fisher f70 and the speaker/battery box on top wobbles a little. Is this normal? Has anyone found a remedy?

I had to send my F70 in for repair this past summer because of internal issues, they ended up sending my detector back with a rubber piece between the housing and bar, also the 2 round rubber pieces where you connect the coil. My detector didn't come with them out of the box, and the housing did wobble a bit before that.
